Debra has worn many hats at Guild Academy (previously Nomadic Learning) but currently leads the content design, development, delivery and implementation efforts for Guild Academy alongside an incredible team of entrepreneurs, teachers, writers, developers, and filmmakers to push the boundaries of what’s possible with online learning. Guild Academy is cohort-based learning built for the way modern teams work: together. It’s tailored to your business — your voice, your leaders, your challenges — deployed quickly and at scale to drive real outcomes. Guild Academy works with organizations like ABInBev, Citibank, Visa, Kaiser Permanente, Shipt and IPG-Media Brands to help drive alignment, change behavior and make transformation efforts stick.
Previously, Debra ran a nonprofit foundation focused on more responsible business where she had the pleasure of working with many fortune 100 companies, the UN, World Economic Forum, Net Impact, and a number of forward-thinking global universities. She is proud to be a founding board member of Cora: a social startup focused on providing safe, healthy organic menstrual management products to women in the US through a one for one model that in turn provides safe, healthy, innovative products to amazing girls in need internationally. She has a Masters of International Development and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Business and BAs in Secondary Education, Curriculum & Instructional and English Literature.
Debra lives in Northern Colorado with her husband and three children. Together they enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, rafting, and travel.
