Brit Elise Rocourt is a global sustainability professional with twenty years of experience building partnerships between the public, private, and non-profit sectors to support social impact programs. She is the Head of Opportunity & Social Impact at Gap Inc., the largest specialty apparel retailer in America and parent company to Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta.
Brit has spent her career at Plan International USA, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Inter-American Development Bank, and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) bringing diverse sectors together around a social cause and driving resources to those who need it most, be it people living in poverty, women & girls, children & youth, refugees & immigrant populations, and/or racial & ethnic minorities.
Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Brit is a Fulbright Scholar, Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellow and has a masters in Economic and Political Development from Columbia University.
